The Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences offers a new bachelor programme “International Business, BSc” taught in English over 7 semesters. The study programme will develop the understanding of international business in a globalized world. Based on the latest theoretical concepts of business administration the study programme equips students with the key business skills to work successfully in an international business environment.
The study programme will be offered at the Campus in Rheinbach and Sankt Augustin. Learning of a second foreign language is compulsory. It includes a flexible mobility window for internships and/or study abroad semesters. The admission requirements are as follows:
- Entrance qualification for a University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule);
- Entrance qualification for university;
- Entrance qualification acknowledged as equivalent by the competent authorities.
International students must show proficiency in English: at least B2+ level according to the Common European Framework of References for Languages. Application period (preclusive period): 15 May until 15 July for the following winter semester.

From 1 to 14 July 2018, the Bayreuth International Summer School (BISS) will welcome students from all over the world to join courses on the campus of the University of Bayreuth.
As one of Germany’s youngest universities, our interdisciplinary focus and the innovative collaboration between many of our disciplines are key features of Bayreuth’s research culture. The University of Bayreuth is considered to be among the best young universities in the world, as can be seen by its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) worldwide ranking "150 under 50". Thanks to its diverse array of disciplines and strategically chosen focus areas, the University of Bayreuth is internationally recognized for its research contributions and offers an excellent study environment.
The BISS 2018 consists of seven individual courses, each one specialised in a different area of study and research. Organized by the International Office in corporation with the Campus-Akademie, all courses are conducted in English by international guest lecturers and will take place over a two-week period. Participants have the opportunity to engage theoretically and practically in various seminars and discussions for around six hours each day. The courses are in line with the research areas of the University of Bayreuth.
Come and be a part of our tight-knit campus and Bavaria’s fun-loving town of Bayreuth, which is firmly in the hands of the students. Enjoy learning and working in a small group of max. 15-20 international participants. A certificate and ECTS points are awarded for regular attendance of the course, active participation and a short presentation.

Admission with bachelor’s or master’s degree
The Bonn Graduate School of Economics (BGSE) offers a two-stage graduate program that combines demanding courses with early individual research in a supportive and intellectually demanding environment. Students finish the two-year course phase with a Master’s degree specialized in economic research (M.Sc. Economic Research) and the three-year dissertation phase with a doctoral degree (Ph.D. equivalent). Outstanding (top 10%) students holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or related fields (e.g. mathematics, statistics, business administration, accounting, and finance) are encouraged to apply for admission. All BGSE activities are conducted in English. Grants are available. Students are provided with adequate office space. Our student body benefits from an excellent faculty and numerous collaborative research activities. BGSE alumni have excellent career prospects in academia and beyond.
